I have a 20ft tilt car hauler tilt car hauler with 2 7,000 axles and F Load range tires. My 2500HD handles it pretty well with a 2 ton bob tail loaded. However, something that few people realize is that pulling a trailer that weighs over 10,000 lbs. requires a CDL. And if something happens and you were required to have a CDL and don't have one, it is just like driving with no license at all. I have had a commercial license since 1959, but pulling a bobtail on a bumper pull trailer ain't no fun. This is my preferred way of moving anything bigger than a 1 ton.
