yes, it prolly is warmer here in some summers - but I lived in the Bay area for awhile too, so I have a comparison
even in the winter up here I usually start the truck moving within minutes, heater or no .... OTOH, I also have a block heater installed I can use if I know I'll be out on
really cold days, maybe they're available down there?
