| | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 | I like to let the 235 warm up to almost operating temperature before taking off as it's still cold here. It has a by pass filter and it's a 1956-57 engine. Am I doing the right thing by warming her up before taking off. Some guys told me that I'm starving the engine for oil as this is a by pass canister oil filter......I don't know...that's why I'm asking for help....
