Modern Even-fire GM V6 or 230/230/292 Chevy HEI distributor will drive 302 or 270, or distr off any Chevy.
270 flywheel and clutch will work on 302.
Uncertain if 'any' GM starter will work on 302, however, 270 6 volt starter should work on 302.
Other issues mentioned above should work.

'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.
