I have found that the pair of them is about right for 235ci and too little for a 261ci. That carb was originally used on a 1600 cc engines (about 100ci). Two of the Holley-Webers that Langdon sells would be probably too much for a 235. Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
