Greetings from New Jersey,

I have a pair of galvanized
tail gate chains with BLACK rubber covers.
These are GM NOS.
I bought them on ebay.

I've seen GM NOS tailgate chains in BLACK

I was offered this one:

I did not buy it because he only had the one.

If he had a pair I would've bought them.
