Larry, I had my radio rebuilt and installed in my sub. It wouldn't play. took it out and took it back to the radio guy. Worked fine on his bench. took it back,reinstalled it in the burb, same thing, still wouldn't play. took it back to radio guy again. worked fine on his bench again. After all this turns out my antenna on the truck was bad. So maybe check that out. good luck on your project.
