Your one lucky man. Drive it with pride all day long. If you have any questions I am sure the guys over in the BIG BOLT Forum can help you with any questions like the two speed rear end.
I think it'll do just fine on the 50 mile trip. Just don't try to make the old gal run faster than it was meant to be....... and some of the older bigger trucks like yours did come with a 235 but I'm not the expert on those questions.
