I opted to go w/the pre-made steel lines when I redid my brakes. I reused all the brass blocks and tee blocks. I had two leakers, one at the new MS and the other at the block on the right rear wheel cyl. A loosen and re-tighten stopped the leak. 4K miles later they're still holding strong.
The lines fit perfectly.
