I wrestled with the same problem with my 54 with add-on turn signals. Couldn't get the little internal indicator light to function properly, so I just used a couple Radio shack buzzers...one to each signal. Just tied them in to each circuit....put a little piece of tape over the buzzer hole to quiet them down. Not stock, not pleasant, but not blinking as I drive down the highway!
