sounds like a bad idea to me to "slice in" to anything other than the correct place - meaning the actual blinking lights
hook the signal setup into the hign beam indicator and you may find your headlights flashing .... for a second, until the flasher blows up
the original setup has dash indicator lights properly spliced in on each line to the front & rear lights lights, you just need to find a spot to place them, if there's no provision in the dash .... the factory would have some setup for them, look carefully at the back of your gauge cluster
