Yes you need new brass fittings if they won't seal. Someone may know of a fix but the tubing is so much harder than the brass that once the brass fitting is deformed to the old tube the news may not seal. I did the same thing but only had one that would not seal. I replaced the brass fitting and that fixed the seal.
