Waited 22 weeks for it.
400 CID
Turbo 400 trans,
No-Spin rear
Trac-Lock front
4.56 Ratio
77 was the first year for the one ton 4x4(K30) model.
First year for the TH400 Trans in K model trucks.
This truck is number 14 off the line.
Midnight black with Firethorn Red interior.
Factory in dash Tach, Velour cloth seat, Silverado Trim package, camper special package
Dual tanks, dual batteries, dual rear wheels, Tilt Wheel, Power windows/Locks, much more.
Also 77 was the only year with the Gold inlay on the body trim.
All other years had black inlay.

Interesting about the history ... i.e., that '77 was the first year for the 1-ton 4x4. 1st year for the Rounded Line or first year ever for a 1-ton 4x4? Does that included the duallie option, too? Was there a factory duallie prior to '77? Or just 1-ton SRW 2WD? And when did they first offer the factory crew cab? It was that era truck when I first heard the term "Cowboy Cadillac" ... Amazing that it looks like that in the Salt Belt ... You must not drive it in the winter ... How many miles are on it ... 3?? Stunningly beautiful truck. Personally, I prefer the round headlight trucks to the later square headlights  Thanks! John

To clarify the 1977 model year introduced the K30 or one ton 4x4 available in
Single rear wheels Standard, or optional Dual rear wheels RPO Code RO5 Dual RR Wheel
And RPO E63 PUBX Fleet
One ton C30 Cab/Chassis trucks started in 58 I think.
In the 73 Model year change to the "Round Line" The C30 trucks, PU box and dual rear wheels in two wheel drive
Was Offered, "camper special " package.
Also the 3+3 or Crew Cab was available, with 8' Bed
This truck has 475,xxx miles on it.
I completely rebuilt it starting in 1998 and finished it in 2000 at a cost of Three Times
To what the original purchase price was.
