I bought 2 altman easy latch kits for my 49 sub. I followed the instructions and they don't work all that well. You have to cut a section out of the jamb and the latch comes very close to hitting the window channel. Also the link from the inside handle to the latch mechanism has a couple of bends in it which don't reach the latch mechanism correctly. The unit is very well built and finished nicely but I still have problems opening and closing the doors. Also if you cut the jamb like the instructions say then you can't lock the door and they leave solving that probleml up to you. So my question is has anyone on this site had problems installing the Altman not so easy latch. I would be satisfied with a link to an installation video if there is such a thing.

I have no experience with them but if you go to YouTube and type Altman Latch into the search window you will find many minutes/hours of installation videos.
