I have an opportunity to purchase a GMC Suburban that is missing the clam shell doors.('47-'54) Being new to this type of vehicle, I'm wondering how hard it will be to find a good set, and what the "going" price would be.
Also, any info as to any other issues pertaining to installing other doors would be appreciated. The vehicle is in fair condition, and the price is reasonable. Also, available from the same party is a complete 1.5t. GMC truck with a 248c.i. engine, for $ 400.00 Your thoughts? (the suburban is missing the engine and trans.)
Thanks, Bill

Buy both of them while they are available. You will not regret it.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

I know of some barn doors on a '58.
Not mine, but I did buy the roof.

I am guessing '57 based on your username?

eBay listings are short-lived - they should not be placed in a post - the eBay link that was here has been removed

Posting the eBay search criteria would be OK (not the Bay item number or link to an eBay item).
