I have my work cut out for me under the dash. I found another item attached to the steering column that I assume is the brake light switch. Some of the wires are spliced, some are dead ended... I am torn between replacing the whole wiring harness or redoing the one that is in there. Either way, I think I will remove the current one and go over it really good before I reinstall it. There is, however, a modern fuse block, which is nice.
One more thing is an item that looks like a relay mounted to the firewall in the vicinity of the clutch pedal that currently has no wires attached to it. Anyone want to hazard a guess on that one? Otherwise, if you start the engine, go back inside for another cup of coffee while it warms up, then it runs awhile and stalls, the choke will continue to be heated and release itself before you get back to start again. Then it's difficult to start the cold engine with no choke.
