Usually the 30/300/3000-series are classed as 1-tons. the 4100 SHOULD be a "light-duty" 1-1/2-ton. I don't know if G.M. ever made a 1-1/4-ton,like some manufacturers. Hope this helps.

Chevrolet didn't have a 1 1/4 ton truck, but GMC did. They are "Rare", but GMC had a 280 series truck, that was rated as a 1 1/4 ton. | | |
