Would anyone who has this setup mind telling me what modifications/issues they had with getting them working? 235 is stock. Standard rear end, drive line, 4spd transmission.

But what I am looking for is information on how to setup the W-1. What jet size, needle and seat are needed? What are these long needles I keep seeing on ebay and what ones do i need for 574s (Chevrolet 839987? etc.....
Thanks for the help in advance

The best approach is to build the W-1's to absolute stock condition; and then adjust from there. Depending on what has been done to the engine (compression, cam, headers, etc.) very little may be needed to modify the carburetors. Jon. Every thing is stock on the inside of the motor. Can these be adjusted to handle a modified 261 ( step up cam, polished ports w 383 head ). I have purchased a few carter 966s in case the 574's will not work.....

But if you are not at continuous WOT they should be fine. You will probably have to do a little tuning for the 261.
