Does the "feed" line from pump to tank end just under the hole in the rear floor of the cab or is it a continuous line up to the sender? The manual shows a short piece of hose coming through the floor hole, but I dont see anyone that sells a fuel fine from the rubber hose up to the sender. So do I need to bend my own piece to from sender to hose? Hopefully this makes sense...Thanks!

Is this for your '27 truck or your '41?

The line comes down from the tank to a shut-off valve it is really more of a nipple than anything just long enough (maybe 4-5") to come out underneath where the valve can be screwed on. Then there is a short rubber hose from that valve to the steel line running along the frame to the fuel pump. The hose is available from vendors but the valve is not reproduced as far as I know.

What style of tank do you have? The correct tank for a 50 3100 is as Brad described above. A later AD tank has the fuel line originating from the sending unit at the top of the tank.

ok it sounds like I have a later sender but an earlier valve assy so I will get the right sender.

Is there a rubber grommet that goes in the floor in addition to the rubber sponge that goes around that line thru the floor?
