Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!
| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 311 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 311 | I am installing lap belts on my '48 1.5ton Loadmaster and I would like to see a factory diagram. I do not have an accessory installation manual, which I am assuming has a diagram. I have looked thru the archives and spent awhile browsing the internet, but I have not found a diagram for the 46-53 AD's. Any and all help is appreciated! | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | Curt, I don't think you are going to find "factory" references as seatbelts did not really become a fixture in cars or trucks until the late 50's and then they were optional for a few years before really taking off. I think your best bet it to see what others have done here as street rod applications have been retrofit and available for quite a few years now. Here is a shot of mine I did three sets and used the ones offered from ClassicParts. http://www.flickr.com/photos/advance-design_parts_co/8129063725/in/set-72157631867396207 | | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 311 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 311 | Brad I am leaving town until Jan 6, when I return I'll give you a call and see if you are available so I can take a look at your installation. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 4,263 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 4,263 | I have a few pics here ...link...
