As I near having everything I need to complete my chassis I am down to the drive shaft, exhaust and gas tank.

I'm running a T5 behind a 235. What to do for a driveshaft? Am I lucky enough that something from another vehicle might fit? I thought I read something about a shaft from a a Dodge van but can't find it now.

On my 1954 3100 I used the driveshaft from a Chevy Astro van. Used a combination U-joint to connect it to the rear end from 1962 C10. Didn't have to cut or modify the driveshaft.

I just checked my notes from when I did the conversion and I have written down "early 90's'.

It's a one piece. The front yoke that came on it slipped right into the T-5.

So doing a parts search, when it lists the front and the rear the front must be the yoke and the rear the actual shaft?

Mine was out of a 1999 astro van RWD. Exact same measurement as this one for sale right now. Bought mine from here also. Check you measurements.

I see were it could be called a "two piece", because the yoke is separate from the shaft via the U joint. Mine looks like the one in the e-bay listing that fiftee3 provided.

Just an update:

Picked up a '92 Astro rear shaft today. Complete with yoke and joint.

Fit as if it were made for the application. Yoke slips onto the T5, U Joint fits the Blazer axle perfectly.

Cost? $20.

A 2 piece drive shaft consist of 2 drive shafts 3 ujoints 1 on each end and 1 in the middle with a slip yoke and a hanger bearing. Typical found on longer wheel base vehicles. The one piece is just that, one drive shaft including joints and yoke.
