Are the 39-40 cabs the same as the 41-46 cabs as far as dimensions go?
Thanks

The short answer is no. The 41-46 cabs are longer in the cowl/firewall area, giving them more leg room. Why are you asking?

I was just wondering what might interchange between the two.

What are you looking to interchange?

Nothing right now, I have been looking at pictures of the different years and the 39 and 40 body's look so close to the 41-46 it got my curiosity going. So I guess it's info that might be useful in the future.

The way I learned what interchanges is actually partly by looking through Jim Carter's printed catalog. That might be a good start. There are surprisingly a lot of differences.
