The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot '60-'66 Trucks CPP Swaybar....anyone?

Has anyone recently had the pleasure of fitting a front swaybar from CPP? Truck here is a pure stock in everything including height C20. Just ain't happening. Without drastic chopping down of endlinks and ensuring wheels are always dead straight whenever the need arises to jack front it won't play. The techies at CPP are adamant over its compatibility. Presently feel like we're in a tug of war with a tank.

Another company to try is early classic enterprises. I've used their kits on 2 trucks without complaint.

CPP isn't known for stellar customer service.

Review Board @ 67-72 forum has numerous threads about their lack of customer service.

I bought my mounts and bushings for my used sway bar from Early Classic Enterprises for my '65 C10 and I am very happy with the quality, etc..

I don't know if any of it applies to you 3/4 ton or not tho'. It's a place to start.

Doggone! DOGGONE! How'd I miss this one. Just exactly how many other outfits are out there plying for trade in old trucks. What I got to do, live for a hundred years? And some? Hey Hollow65, that there swaybar's on the money regards issues with clearance and such. Saw one like it a man transplanted from an 83 Suburban,(after the event) said it went right in not so much as a huff & puff....so's I'm the wise-all now being CPP can lunch on me and my lower control arm's gonna look like some fancy Dan's Brembo time this little escapade is dusted. Doggone! DOGGONE!
