Here's what happened I was running the truck in the garage(as it doesn't move yet) and yes with the garage door open. It just quit running and when I tried to restart it it acted like the battery was dead. It would not turn over at all. I put trickle charger on it. The next day it started right up as if the battery were fully charged. Any thoughts. :confused: | | |

The little charger must have been on the battery for quite awhile if it were responsible for the new breath of life...either that, or the battery wasn't dead. As my cousin Alphonse used to say, it will develop!

When the battery gets low there is not enough current to fire the coil. If it is a generator it will not charge at slow idle but should charge when accelerated.
