Will the back fenders of a 41-46 1/2 ton Chevy truck fit on the 41-46 1/2 ton panel/burb after the bolt up flange was cut off and cut back to the width of a panel finder.??? Has any one tried ???--lc34--

This doesn't address your question, but a pair of solid, steel pickup rear fenders is too rare to experiment with. Many hobbyists are searching for rear fenders to replace 'glass fenders installed decades ago. Strongly recommend you consider selling your steel pickup fenders & invest proceeds in another solution to restoring your panel or 'burb

not sure about the 41-6 fenders but the 35-6 fenders are not the same shape at the top of the fenders and along the body line to the bottom on the inside. there will be a lot of pie cutting and filling to do to get them close to fitting.. i would try to do a fiberglass fender first to see how it would work. unless the steel fenders are trashed

I feel your pain Ic34 my rear fenders will take a lot of work for my 37.But what options do we have.Replacements just don't exist. every so often one shows up on eBay for an insane price. And no fiberglass is not an option for me.
