Anyone successfully get a Saginaw 4spd to work with the original AD column shifter? I can't imagine it'd be all that difficult with reverse on a cable.

I have a Patrick's floor kit but I'm kinda bummed about losing the 3OTT charm.

Yes, it has been done. Motion Guru documented his on the oldGMCtrucks.com board a few years ago.

Looks like he had to cut some new arms and make a pivot to use an A833...I was thinking the Sag would only take some bending of the rods. Haven't pulled my Sag out of the crate and taken the time to mess with it yet tho. Just trying to get a game plan together in my head.

If you can find one, some '60s Chevrolet Vans used a 4 speed column shift. Might be able to adapt the control box to work.

I was thinking the four forward gears would be on the tree and reverse on a cable.
