Any suggestions on someone to restore my gauges and a rough idea of cost?

If you mean cosmetic there are stick ons to cover speedo and gauges, very inexpensive. Repairing old gauges is another matter, best is to search for good used ones. Speedo shops around for speedo and odometer that can run around $100 or so to have rebuilt. Best of luck

I had mine done through Jim Carter, they look like new. 400+ to do it plus shipping. Dave

If your patient, contact several speedo services, and find NOS clusters and gauges. Ebay also has NOS gauges too. I was able to locate a NOS 46 GMC gauge cluster set, and early NOS Advance Design GMC gauge clusters at a speedo service. It took some time and patience, but the original beige/gold NOS colors of the GMC gauges were worth the wait....compared to the close approximation of the decals sold through vendor suppliers. Now I need to stay with a 6 volt system but that's OK. Clean, bright and tight (6V mantra) is the way I like to keep my restorations anyhow. Bout' the same price as Jim Carters too.

Check out Bowtie Bits. They are doing mine right now and is the same place that classicparts.com sends all their work when you buy refurbished gauges. They take your core and rebuild it to like new.
