I am looking for the one that is installed from below frame up into gear box and the one on the other end that goes thru mounting bracket and then down thru frame.
The assembly manual shows them as part numbers 106340 and 100053, respectively. I do not see either in the parts guide but maybe i had a breakdown in my navigation skills.
Any help with bolts or navigating thru guides is appreciated. Thanks

Grigg I concur. But, I believe there are 2 each 1/2-20x1.5", 1 each 1/2-20x1.75" (all three with 1/2-20 nuts) and one 1/2-13x1". But, I see no reason not to go with all 1/2-13 (if worried about bolts loosening, then a little blue thread cement should do the trick).

For anything that is mechanical on the truck I make sure to use fine thread and grade 5. Don't forget that your local hardware store may sell grade 5 fine thread bolts, but generally do NOT sell grade 5 nuts. This makes your strength grade 2 in combination. Not good. I purchase nuts from McMaster-Carr (fine thread in just a few sizes) so I have what I need for the local purchase bolts.
These days I use stainless on my projects so have to be really careful to get hardened stainless equiv to grade 5 or grade 8 in certain places on the truck. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 568 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 568 | Home Depot surprisingly had a great selection of grade 8 bolts. I've been replacing my 50 year old bolts little by little.
