I got a "free" 72 stake bed truck a year ago and am ready to start work on it. It runs, stops, and dumps just fine. Body and interior are rough. Does anyone know if cab parts such as, seat covers, door skins and window glass are the same size as the half ton trucks in 1972? I would like to know before ordering a bunch of parts. Thanks

In a short answer, some yes, some no. Seat covers, window glass should be both yes. Door skins, almost. You can use the doors/ door skins with modification. The lower front of the doors need trimmed. Also the cabs are different. The fire wall and front part of the floor are different in the big trucks.

I have a 69 c50 that is going to the scrap yard in the near future if any parts are the same.

I think the body parts are the same. If your truck has less rust, i could use the hood, front bumper doors, cab steps under the doors, passenger side window and windshield. Let me know if any of these parts are in good shape. thanks

Looks like your truck is in pretty decent shape,overall. Not bad for dents,and the only rust I see is the cab corners,and those are the same as the pick-ups.looks like your truck belonged to a roofing company.you got it "free"?? LUCKY YOU!! Thanks for the pic's!!
