Well I did it again for rescued one headed for the scape heap if no one was going to buy it.
So I found myself rescuing another old Big Bolt.

Has clear title...and I paid less than $500.00. I am duly contrite and ashamed of myself;-)
Typical 2ton GMC, it is a flatbed with dump hoist (works) Good rubber all the way around, no recaps.
Comes with 2 spares, wheels and tires, snow chains, extra starter, extra side tank, electric fuel pump and spare hydro-vac.
228 CID engine, 4 speed trans, 2 speed vacuum shift rear axle.
No broken windows, all parts intact, window frames, headliner bows, door panels & frames, seat, nice front end sheet metal, some minor dents, but no body rot. All the side-gates are intact with all hardware and with rear steel drop down tailgate. Spring loaded Petal hitch and wired for electric brakes but 6 volt.
Trucks original owner was Southern Pacific Railroad, still has logo on doors. Current owner is 3rd owner after his father, who was second owner. He used it for hauling firewood. Current owner is 84 now decided the truck needed a new home.
He also gave me 2 five lug 6x22.5 rims with nice 9x22.5 tires for free.
I will stop bragging for now.
All Hail Klaatu and Gort
