I just had the transmission rebuilt last month, I will take the truck back to the shop tomorrow but just wanted yalls opinion before I go.

I was driving down the highway and I tried to shift to nuetral and it wont disengage 3rd gear. Clutch is in and the shifter is moving but the gear wont pop out.

The old three on the tree linkage problem is what it sounds like to me. Inspect the linkage for lost cotter pins and/or bindings.

I had mine stuck in first, it was something in the little box on the steering column. This is a pretty common ailment.
