I was working on the brakes in my 41' Chevy half ton, and happen to have a 2006 F150 6 lug rim sitting near by. Guess what? Yep, a perfect bolt pattern /center match! For whatever that is worth?

I think you'll find that the lug pattern on the Ford wheel is actually slightly smaller than the Chevrolet. The Ford pattern is 6 x 135mm, the Chevrolet is 6 x 139.7mm. That will prevent the lug nuts from properly seating. In addition, the backspace and offset are not correct.

Thank you. The good news is that I can buy nice looking alloy wheels without a major hunt.

Thanks for pointing that out Bill, might have
avoided a serious accident.

Yes, the good news is any 6 on 5.5" (6 on 139.7) bolt pattern wheel will fit. This is every 6 bolt GM truck wheel up to current, and Nissan Titan, etc. Where you might run into issues is with the backspacing on the newer wheels, as your '41 was mean to run very narrow wheels, you might run into clearance issues. As with anything else, measure, measure, measure.
