Any tips and tricks? Mine is cracked outward from the locking mechanism. Thanks for any help. If I need a totally new frame and glass, what is the going price from a used truck and how hard to install? | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | yes, the glass can be replaced - easiest with the vent assembly out, and the procedure for removing the vent assembly is in the shop manual, but possible in place - the bedding compound needs to be softened to get the glass out, then cleaned out - any local glass shop should be able to do it
