Had good luck with Classic Parts Headlight switches. Just don't
get the cheap $29 one, heard lots of complaints about them:

There is also the 12v version, probably the only difference
is the cutout contacts.

I just bought one from the truck shop here in California. It is an original fashioned repop. I installed it and it works fine.

His dad is the wholesale importer of a lot of the parts that we
get from the vendors. Good chance that they are all imported by
him, I just can't feature multiple manufacturers tooling up to
make a very limited volume item like an AD head light switch.

Just had this conversation with a good buddy this week. We both
feel that the vast majority of the reproduction parts are
sourced from the same manufacturers.

The best would be NOS AC-Delco.

The repop switches are fine, it's the repop knob/shaft that stinks. The knob is held onto the shaft by a set screw and, in my experience, will fall off every time you pull on it.
