It's got the stock intake and exhaust manifolds both turned upside down, updraft carb and an exhaust stack. I would be willing to bet you could just turn a Fenton or similar dual-carb manifold upside-down as well. The issue will be the exhaust. I'm not sure if you'd have room to run the exhaust in the stock location. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 1,002 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 1,002 | Sorry, I misread the topic and didn't see "dual". My updraft manifold is a stock single carb.

I believe one of the big GMC sixes (maybe the mid-1940's 426?) had a dual updraft setup. My uncle used a retired GMC road tractor to haul BIG boats from his shop in Goodlettsville Tennessee to Old Hickory lake after he repaired them, back in the mid-1950's. Jerry

Cadillac used dual updraft one-barrels on the V-12 and V-16 engines from 1931 through 1937, but of course these were not inline engines.
I have no record of any dual single-barrel updraft manifold used by GM on an inline engine.

This was on an 844 CID inline 6.
Not GM, but closest I have found so far.
