What truck model and years did it fit? How can I locate this information in the future? Thanks. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | in the Master Parts Manual, if it's between 1929 and 1957 Bill | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | Check out the sticky post with a link to GM parts Wiki. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 | You're right, I'll quite complaining, just leave it the way it is, sorry for mentioning it. That first link that W- has posted brings up a picture of the lawn mower part I ordered from Sears last week, a list of random numbers with the heading "New Marketplace Parts" and 10 "New Images".
DG well, whatta ya want for free? DG needs to wrench on his trucks I think... -W | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | Once again, GM Wiki, really hard to use. Now Gus's link does call up a "Query" form where you can enter the number. After a few more random clicks you can, if your lucky, end up at a page out of the parts manual with that number listed: 41-41 COMM.,UTILITY...(rubber-2 3/8 x 7 13/16 overall) 3656989 1 1.29
DG Really hard to use? Do you have blisters on your fingers? Click on 'search' on the home page, enter part # on second page. Every instance of the parts use in any GM vehicle shows up. | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | OK, I just made it easier for all of you. I edited the link to open up the search page instead of the home page. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 11 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 11 | According to my parts manual, Your gas pedal is for 1941-1942 Chevrolet Comm., Utility trucks, it could also fit the GMC.
