Here are ( 2 )vintage GM Rear Axle overhaul manuals.
These are posted at my Google free storage cloud.

They are free to download from the Google site.

No need to email me.

Each manual page has been sized to 600 pixels wide.
They have been cleaned up, removing fingerprints,
grease spots and most printing artifacts.
Assembled into a very readable pdf. file.

They both read great on my computer with
Adobe Reader.

The first is: Eaton Single-Speed Rear Axle overhaul
dated on the back cover - 1956.

It's available to download here:

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6ejBNFlsW2AQXdwLVZtZEFEYjg/edit?usp=sharing

The second is: Servicing The New 3/4 and One-ton Truck Rear Axles
circa: approx. 1947/48

Available here:

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6ejBNFlsW2AeVR4Vk1ON2ZrSzA/edit?usp=sharing

These vintage manuals are NOT to be sold.
If I see them on ebay, I'll contact ebay and have them removed.
They are here for FREE to stovebolt members in the interest of truck restoration.
And in the interest of preserving these old manuals. These are for your personal libraries.

I'm also working on other old time GM manuals.

Web site location is given...click on the link.
It works on my computer !

Download the pdf. file. I suggest to desktop.

Read away. I suggest Adobe Reader.

Hope you like them as each one took hours to put
together.

Thanks for taking the time to do this and for offering them for free.

Denny, Keith is currently out of action due to health reasons. You can confirm this at his website. When he's back to up & at em. I'll contact him.

Good deal, thanks George. I thought I'd heard he was on the mend
and getting back to work. Appreciate the effort you and the
rest of the contributors make to this and other sites. That's
the stuff that keeps the hobby healthy.

The first link worked just fine but the second one
only takes us to the Google sign in page, appears
to be for members only? That one I'm particularly
interested in seeing since I've done some work on
my '50 rear axle and have another that I'll be
working on in the near future.

Denny, This is the first time , I've posted anything at the Google storage site.
I'll go back in & take out the pdf.file & re-post it to Google.
Then come back here & post the new url.

Thank You for the critique.

The ( 2nd pdf.) is also the rear axle I have.

ps/
I have ALL of the internal parts 100%, GM NOS,
( except axles )
for the complete rebuilding of my rear axle assembly.

That's why I have this manual.
