Hi. I'm doing a '54 1/2t Chevy for another member at my shop. What I need is a bit of help from someone who's got the cab off the frame and the frame sitting there.
Somewhere back in the history of this truck, someone has removed the running board brackets, battery box, and of all things the left front cab mount perch. Well, I've got the new battery box and brackets for the running boards, but I can't find anyone who supplies the bracket that rivets to the frame to support the left front corner of the cab.
What I'm looking for is for someone to take a file folder or piece of thin cardboard and make a template of the cab mount bracket and send it to me. I have the equipment and ability to fabricate the bracket, I just need a pattern.
Anybody that can help us out?
