Everything was going remarkably well, even the bolts were coming out nicely when..."tink" and the rear ear fell into my hand...
So now I'm in need of a manifold.
The casting number on the intake looked like 3836160, Googling that brings up a 235 water pump. One or more of the 3's might be an 8 but the 6160 is pretty certain.
The exhaust side has no numbers I can identify due to corrosion.
The exhaust outlet in straight down and the carb pad is for the smaller 216 carb.
Block number if it helps is 3835253.
Any help would be appreciated and if anyone has one that would work Please let me know.
Thanks

I think the intake/exhaust manifolds that year were the same for 216/235?

Also even after extensive soaking in pb blaster all 4 bolts broke upon trying to split the intake and exhaust. A torch might help get them out but I'll still have the crack to deal with.
I'm pretty sure all the early 216 manifolds were similar but the casting number has me thrown off.

Thanks.. | | |
