Hoping someone might be able to give me some direction. I'm trying to replace my front drums on the 64 k10 pickup. I'm having a hard time identifying a vendor that carries them. If I can find the GM part # my Napa store can probably order them. Anyone come across the part number? Thanks john

There may be a parts listing book here for finding the original numbers.... and possibly other stuff you'll enjoy. Worth the look though even if they don't have your model year.

...and as padresag mentioned. Some trucks the DRUM is the same front and read.

EDIT: Advance Auto Parts has a REAR one listed for $59.29 part #BD60002. I didn't find a listing for the "Front" so maybe, just maybe they are the same and if so you'll use your front hub with it. Good luck.

They list others that may fit for less money. Check at the store.

Thanks for the information. I got the rear drums at Napa and will try them on the front.

Is there anything I need to do other than clean the new drums with brake cleaner before I put them on?

My old ones needed resurfacing and it was just a bit more to get new ones.

don't do anything to it before you try it in case I was full of poop and they don't work. not as difficult to take them back then

John, while I'm sure very few people have trouble with new rotors or drums one of the local shops here TURN EVERY NEW drum or rotor when doing a complete brake job. It may be just a SKIM cut but they do it.......
I was skeptical until, as a delivery driver for Advance Auto, I seen first hand how some NEW ones are simply just not "true".
But, as Ron says, do nothing until you know they fit! If good squirt them off good with Brake Kleen and your in business.

(I guess I'm lucky. The same shop I mentioned turns my rotors or drums for $5 each) I guess its good be friends with some folks

The rear drums fit the front I'm ended up putting them on the rears and ordered a set for the front. There is a difference already. Thanks for the info.
