I bought new exterior door locks, along with the cylinder for the Ignition Switch, so that they would all be keyed alike.

Door locks are already in and working.

I'm not sure how to go about removing the old cylinder so I can add the new one.

It's a '67 Chevy PU.

What do I need to do?

Don't know about a 67 but my 38 cylinder has a tiny hole in it. A paperclip end stuck in the hole allows the cylinder to come out.

Tiny is right. Turn the switch to the acessory position. Insert a paper clip or old choke cable in the hole. Turn it a little bit more ccw. It "should" come out now. Put the new one back in starting at the same position.

At this point in time, I just don't wanna mess anything up. Thought I'd ask for advice.

That didn't take long. Maybe one minute?

Wrenchbender. It worked just like you said. I had to turn it a bit CCW to get it to release. The new one popped right in, and the truck cranked up without a hitch.

Now I have "one" key that will crank the truck and lock the doors. I couldn't even lock the doors before.

Finally, something that works!!!!!!
