Has anyone used newseats for their burb if so what are they out of make and model please .havent gone to the yard yet but a heads up will help!
I'm looking for buckets in the front and a third row seat for the middle seat

i used front seats out of a 99 suburban in the front of my 36 and bucket seats out of a 88 chevy ex cab pickup for the second seat {look for a dodge caravan for the 3rd row]

thx for the update I should have mentioned that I have a 48 suburban.
Anybody else i need two buckets and a middle seat I'm not going to use the third seat I won't have room for all my wife's junk I mean my treasures.

for the buckets in front, it's your best guess. for the ride height, i would look into a truck or small suv like the s-10

as for the rear seat, a bench seat from a 1982-1993 chevy s-10 fits nicely between the fender wells.

Wheels I used 2001 chevy front bucket suburban seats. I like them because of they have built in seat belts. If you go that route reinforce under floor as seats need to survive a crash intact to floorboard. To get to back seat area I have been researching using the seat riser from the second seat on right side which was built to flip down to get to third row seat of modern suburban s. I haven't tried that yet as a front row is all I need at present. Good luck

if you get the 3rd row seat from a 99 suburban and cut out the mounting holes from the floor of the 99 suburban and mount it in your floor then you can remove the seat when you do not need it and the floor will be flat

I used BMW seats in my '71 C-10 and some Japanese seats (they were out and the body gone when I got them) in my '69 Panel. I have discovered that American TRUCK seats sit higher and are easier to mount than seats out of the Euroasian boxes a bit to late!

Wheels, when I first brought mu '52 GMC sub home, I set the seats from my '99 Chrysler mini-van in it. I used an extra pair too so I had 4 buckets and a bench. They looked good and the seats are some of the best buckets around, I've put thousands of miles on my van and they are comfortable on the long haul. Since then, I have done some measuring and it looks like I can just cut the whole floor out of the van, remove the pw floor and weld it in. That way I have all of the quick release mounts, as well as comfortable seats. The only disadvantage is not having integral seat belts.
Also, for those of you contemplating anchoring your seatbelts in the floor, as someone mentioned earlier, be sure to have a good sized strap running across the undercarriage and anchored well. I used to build conversion vans back in the day and we used a heavy 6" dia. washer, but that was a steel floor too. We also cut up many a mini van (Chrysler) and lowered the floors in them, So I know just about where to cut so I don't blow myself up!

Thx for the responses on the seats I'm going to a yard in the next week and start Looking I'll check out those years that were posted.
Their are a lot of options out there other than the og seats that I think a lot of people can't afford.
Will post what I used and how I installed them I plan on using the quick release in the floor so I can utilize all of the floor for traveling
