I just purchased a Wayne bodied 1950 30' school bus with 6700 on the hood. The tire size is a 7.50-20 if that helps? Is it a 1 ton, 1.5 ton, or a 2 ton...how do you tell? Also wondering what engine it originally had with what tranny? I could really use a manual....is there a link to anything on line?

decided to keep it? grin good resource for that type of info is the GM 'restoration pack', the 6700 series was a 2T - you'll find the 48-51 shop manual here

That 6700 series Bus is a 2 ton. Would have originally had a Loadmaster 235 6 cylinder engine.
