On the box behind the dash, there are several male spade connectors. I need to know if the wires had female spade type plugs on them and which color goes where. I have a manual on order, but it's on backorder. Thanks in advance!!

I read your profile and thought you had a '42 pickup, when in reality that is your cylinder index, (whatever that is). After checking your previous posts, it appears you have a '57 pickup. The page I linked does not have a diagram for that year, so it looks like I wasn't much help. I know I have seen diagrams for your year truck...red58 probably has one for sure. I will take my Prozac now and hope someone with some solid info pops in to save the day!  Stuart | | |

BTW, a cylinder index is simply adding up all the pistons you have in your household. i.e. lawn mower, weedwacker, cars, trucks, etc. Then the goal is to have a cylinder index that is close to your age  Thanks again for the help attempt... If you like, I could send it to you. Sorry, I can't remember where I got it, but it is definitely easier on my eyes than the one in the shop manual. Probably because it's an electronic copy that I can print out as big as I need it to be.
