I am in the process of doing some body work on a 46' Chevrolet 1/2 ton. The part I am trying to describe is the cab corner located behind the rear of the front fenders on each side. They are both pretty rotten on my vehicle.
My question is what is that sheet metal part called and does anyone fabricate a patch panel for those corners. Thank you.

I wish I knew how to submit a photo to describe the location of my rot. The best I can do is, if you removed the front fender and exposed the front cab corner that is where the rust has eaten that corner panel away. Thanks anyway for your help, I'll probably need to have it fabricated on site.
