| | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | you just need to find the length needed [use a piece of stiff wire shaped to the space] and get a hose of the larger size [1.75"], then get the adapter to bring one end down as required - likely you'll be getting one of the 'corrugated' flexible type, rather than finding one pre-shaped to your unique application

| | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 576 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 576 | herriot...what I did when trying to get hoses for my 49 was to get coat hangers or a stiff piece of wire and cut those to the lengths you need and bend to the configuration you need as well. also note the sizes of the ends you need....then I went to autozone and the guys at the counter let me go to the back and spend some time with the hoses...for the bottom I ended up buying a much larger hose and cutting just the portion out that I needed....found the bottom hose at autozone and top at o'reillys.....hope this helps................whid 1949 Chevrolet 3100 "When this thing hits 88 miles an hour, you're going to see some serious sh%t." -Doc Brown
