at the bottom of the brace that runs down the back of the fender there's a threaded hole [weld nut in the brace], that should line up with a hole in the bracket off the front of the hinge pillar, need a large flat washer cuz the hole is bigger than the bolt for 'adjustment' allowance

Red 58 I have welded replacement hinge pillars on both sides .There is only one hole in the pillar and that's in the front facing the engine area. Is there a bracket that bolts to the pillar then goes to the fender , Or does the bolt go through the pillar hole to the fender brace . The original pillars rusted out and not much there . I can drill a hole in them if necessary. Thanks

the 'one hole facing the engine' is likely where the backmost bolt for the door hinge goes - the piece the fender bolts to is part of the pillar bottom, if it's totally gone, you're in trouble, it needs to be properly positioned - it's FFBR55L/R here, it's welded on - for rough idea, see lower right corner this pic

Thank you red58 that explains the reason for the problem. The lower part of the hinge pillar was completely rusted out so I had nothing to go by .I will buy the parts you mentioned and weld them in. .tanks again
