I just reinstalled my new rebuilt head and was connecting the new oil feed line using some of the original brass fittings. I noticed that the fitting coming from the block to supply the oil, only has a small orifice hole. Is this normal or did someone install a different fitting. It would be my opinion that it should be the same diameter at the 1/8" tubing to get plenty of oil up top. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I found this link to be helpful. Need to know what motor you have but this covers a lot.
