If you find one that someone has already pulled the engine it is real easy getting it out. Another place is Craigs list. You can call the full service yards but they are kinda high.

then you have the 26 spline input shaft and you do not have to cut splines deeper like you do on the 14 spline units from behind the 2.8

Think theres one in the classifieds on the hamb now..
so far I've got the adaptor plate in behind my 216, an 11" clutch from rockauto, and trimmed the bearing retainer and input shaft. clutch fits good with good clearance...
next is final install and get the driveshaft shortened.
Then on to a solution for mounting the e-brake lever...

Pilot bushing depth might make a difference on the shaft and clutch disc choice may make a difference on the retainer. you just need to compare dimensions old & new and adjust accordingly. It's not one size fits all for certain... | | |
