Attached is a photo of the front & rear bumper listed on Ebay. Claims to be OEM from a 46. Of course everything on Ebay is correct & OEM for the car/truck listed. nono

I thought the front & rear bumpers on the 46 were the same. I have a set and both are the same. Notice the front bumper in the photo. It has a recessed design in the center. The rear bumper appears to have a huge curve to it.
Question:
Are these bumpers correct? ohwell
Thanks for your comments. dance

Hi Harold. The front and rear of the 46 are supposed to be the same. I am going to buy two rechromed ones.

Harold,

I also cannot open that page.

Most likely you are giving a link to a page/photo that requires you being logged into picasaweb? See if you can figure out how to obtain a publicly-viewable link to the photo.

Tim,
Bumpers
What are your thoughts on these bumpers?
Are they correct for the 46 P.U.?

If you can wait a bit I'll get my rechromed originals out of storage, shoot some photos and post them. I'm away from them so it may Monday before I can get at them. Ok?

The rear looks like both of mine, front and rear. I do believe the 'oval' bolt heads pictured here are correct though.

That's what my 41"s looked like before they were bobbed and chromed. Oval bolt heads are correct and can be purchased at Chevy's of the 40's.
